Used to love going to Fuddruckers as a kid. I've only been a couple times as an adult but I still enjoyed it when I did.

 

@imthesheriff If I get a beer with my dinner, can I take it home and drink it there? I figured you'd know the laws pertaining to this.

 

Like purchase a beer at the restaurant and take it home with your food? I'm not sure about that. My Chipotle doesn't have alcohol at all so I don't deal with that. My guess would be no though. It probably requires a different type of license.

 

There's a drive thru store about 45 min away from me that sells frozen adult beverages to go. They put a plastic seal over the lid so as long as it's not broken you can't get an open container ticket if you get pulled over.

 

Yeah places literally put a sticker on top of the straw to get around the law. Lol

I feel like that encourages drinking and driving, still can't believe drive through liquor stores are a thing

I was 17 and it was my first waitressing job and I gave a lady a to go cup for her wine without even realizing how stupid that was of me. She wasn't driving but it's still illegal and I don't know why they didn't fire me.

I haven't gotten to the point in my career where I'm comfortable with storing my food and patient's bodily fluids together in the same fridge/freezers like my co workers. So I put it in the breakroom freezer like a normal person and audibly said, THOSE SONS OF BITCHES in front of the new girl kinda loud when I saw it wasn't there. I can't be too mad bc she's really freaking cool and that made her more comfortable around me and she and I have almost identical sense of humor. I printed this out and stuck them thru the vent things in all of the shifts staff's lockers.



Everyone thought it was funny so I'm not in trouble or anything. I hope someone replaces by my next shift but whatever I just won't bring stuff like that anymore.

I picked up some smores poptarts and I don't think I've ever put butter on a poptart that was chocolatey so I plan to do this for supper tonight.

Do youse guys like Kale? I make Kale chips that are almost as good as potato chips. I have perfected it.

Yeah, I'm exaggerating. They're healthy unlike potayto chips.

 

Baked chips are pretty good. Not very wild about kale chips to be honest.

Yes. The one I go to sells bottles of beer. My thinking is it isn't an open container so it shouldn't matter? I could do the same legally at a gas station but as you said it might be a license thing.

Sometimes I want to get one on impulse which is why this comes to mind.

Yeah true. I'm not sure. They also might not just as a policy. None of the Pittsburgh stores have alcohol so I have no experience with it plus PA is notoriously strict with alcohol laws. We just recently started being able to buy beer at certain grocery stores/gas stations.
