I liked the southern style chicken biscuit that they used to have. I would ask for onions to be added, with cheese. That was damn good, but NOPE. GOTTA REMOVE THE ITEMS SANCHEZ LIKES.

 

McDonalds needs to revamp their whole menu, but they'll never do it.

 

I'm predicting a @dadbolt victory.

 

They need to close.

 

I think the dads have an advantage here because:

1. All of us in this thread are functionally children
2. They are used to cobbling together food concoctions for said children

i predict getting the most bullshit ingredients. on that note, keep in mind that small town grocery stores don't have a very great selection, very basic produce, etc.

I have access to EVERYTHING from Jungle Jim's. Fucking store has everything.

 

They even sell insects in bulk lol.

 

not really an excuse, just know that if someone tells me to use fennel or some bullshit I can't get it here

This is really going to come down to who puts on a better presentation. Your food could taste like shit but if you write it well enough and take good enough pictures you can convince people otherwise.

 

We should figure out some rules for this shizz.

 

Wait, we should come up with a list of ingredients that everybody can procure. THEN, have the contestants make something with them. Doesn't matter what, but something.

 

Yeah I think that's the idea. We take input from people for a list of ingredients then each contestant has to make something with said ingredients, make a post detailing what they made, and then the judges choose. We can have different categories for like best looking or whatever.

We could get real fancy and be like real Chopped, divide up the groups and do an appetizer, entree, and dessert round and eliminate contestants.

 

I know I'm not a regular poster but can I join in on this competition? I love cooking and Chopped.
