I felt really bad for this little kid standing in line earlier. She kept telling the kids around her that her mom didn't bring any money so she couldn't get a drink and she kept looking me in the eyes when she was talking/while I was eavesdropping. I was like I'm going to be more broke than I already am from helping people money wise when they need it but I was about to cave when her mom goes, "Shervonna! I see what you're doing. Ma'am do not fall for her trick. She can't have the drink for medical reasons." That shit was hilarious. Kids are some conniving little assholes if they can get away with it.

Most of my real food opinions are pretty moderate but it's way more fun to yell about them to make me seem cooler.

Like I'd totally eat some Velveeta with the Green Chile Rotel. It's not my first choice but if it was there I'm not gonna not eat it.

 

Now that I'm thinking about Velveeta, I'm pretty sure that my mom puts that in her Broccoli Casserole and that shit is in my top 10 fave foods.

 

Cherry Coke is ok. I just don't love cherry as a flavor. It makes the soda too sweet but I prefer the bite of a can of regular Coke. That's also why I don't care for Dr Pepper and why I never preferred Pepsi (which is also ok).

Vanilla Coke on the other hand is delicious. Tastes like a float.

Same here. I kind of rail against things I think are mediocre when other people talk then up, and do the opposite when people say they're bad

 

I fuck with broccoli and some Velveeta with some crushed Ritz over top. Just writing that tasted like nostalgia.

I could not get into Coke with Lime. Coke with Lemon I would be all about.

I'm sure you've all noticed by now that a lot of stuff doesn't get sold in the boondocks down here. My sister ships me stuff just like Travis shipped me the cookies I was dying to try. It's condiments and can drinks mainly. Diet Coke with Lime, Coke Zero Vanilla, San Pellegrino Blood Orange, and those BAI drinks aren't sold here. I love getting mail that isn't bills so she surprises me a lot lol

 

See, that's how I feel about the lime thing. I feel like lime tastes weird in Coke but lemon makes sense to me.

This also may be because I can only drink Diet Coke so when I go to restaurants oftentimes servers will put a lemon in mine to differentiate it from the regular Cokes on the tray.

 

I assumed Coke's reach was as far reaching as possible but apparently they haven't conquered Georgia.

Shit, name other types of stuff you can't get. I wanna put together a surprise delivery!

 

My dad kept ordering Sweet Tea when we were in NYC for the first time. It was so funny bc he'd take a sip and be like ew gross wtf am I drinking? None of us spoke up when he'd order it bc his reaction every time was funny.

 

We don't get the lays weird flavored chips for the contests they do, the limited edition/new oreos, tahini, no micro brews, none of the fruit juice that's good for you just the ones with sugar, no vegan stuff (which I don't do vegan anymore), Stubbs BBQ sauce which they stopped selling i don't know why. Stuff like that.

 

Oh shit grrrrrrl. I'm gonna send you a picnic basket.

 

That is so sweet! Y'all don't have to do any of that for me.

 

I can hook you up with Stubbs BBQ and another local bbq sauce that will knock your socks off. We get the crazy Lays Chips but no oreos.

 

I'll send Erin a package which will definitely be food and not roadkill

My dad, who "won't let" my sister and I travel outside of the US anymore, is going dove hunting in Argentina next week. Like dafuq?
