This makes me uncomfortable and I figured I would share.

They are well priced and of reasonably good quality. And right now I'm working with the absolute worst set of pots and pans imaginable so anything is a step up. But I'm too indecisive. Like I would love to spend 800 dollars on pots and pans but if I'm being reasonable I need to stick to 200-300.

@Justice Beaver from what I've read it's best to go to a restaurant supply store and buy some stainless steel cookware

 

To get into the real cool restaurant supply stores you have to have a restaurant license. At least that's how it is round here. The stuff in the regular, open to the public, kitchen supply stores can be found on amazon for pretty cheap. And I am cheap.

 

Cuisinart's website is confusing as hell for consumers. That looks like a great set! I think I'd go all stainless instead of copper to save money, even though I love the look of copper. Plus being able to throw it in the dishwasher is a nice feature. Why are you settling on those specifically?

 

Well I think stainless steel is gonna work best on my shitty glass stovetop. Being able to put them in the dishwasher is definitely a bonus. Plus for the price, I mean fuck it, if they suck and only last a couple years it'll probably still be worth it. Also, if I only spend 160 I can justify blowing some more money on other kitchen stuff. I'm mostly worried about cleaning and if they are gonna look like shit after a couple of uses.

That's a nice holder. I love having a magnetic strip. Part of me is considering having a hanging rack high above my island for my cookware... can't decide if that's smart or not.

 

I was shocked when my health inspector friend listed off all of the shit you have to have in order to run a food truck.

I'm using a 50 dollar nonstick set that we bought at our local grocery store. It fills me with shame.

 

It's a mix of the cheapest cuisinart available (which I hate, but is sort of okay) and lodge cast iron (which I really enjoy).

 

Ooooh that's next. I need a new cast iron pan and a grill pan. Lodge, eh?

 

Ooooh these are very reasonably priced.

 

Lodge makes very good stuff as long as you care for it properly. I have a 12" skillet and a 7.5 qt dutch oven in red. They look great and cook beautifully. I can't recommend lodge enough.

 

My roommate asked me to go to the store to get some cookies for the house. I guess this is where I decide whether we're to be a Chips Ahoy or an Oreo family

 

I've been to a lot of places and eaten a lot of weird things. I will eat pretty much anything. Like I've eaten bugs from a cart in Thailand.
