I bought Krispy Kreme a couple weeks ago and I'll probably never go back. You could pay half price for better donuts at a mom &a pop shop.

 

I need to try Krispy Kreme and Dunkin but yeah the little no name places are best

 

idk. it's hard for me to not love their original glazed dougnuts, glazed raspberry filleds, crullers, powdered blueberry filleds, glazed blueberry cakes, glazed sour creams, and apple fritters.

 

I'm helping out at my mom's tax firm for some extra cash since it's technically the last week of tax season for them and they desperately need help. My mom's boss has gotten me a donut every morning so far. Good donuts too maybe Krispy Kreme (shoutout @mutterly) ? She's worked there since she was 16 so he's known me my whole life and my mom was like what the heck, he doesn't do that for me!

To toot my horn a little bit, most people tend to really like me IRL. People do stuff like that for me a lot. My supervisor brought me a biscuit a couple weeks ago and told me to keep it a secret. Those foods always taste better imo.

I also get that I'm extremely intimidating at first bc my shyness comes off as being an asshole. So maybe people talk shit about me behind my back and I just don't know it lol

Mcflurry

 

I wasn't really into either of the new Big Macs for whatever reason. I like the original quite a bit, too.

 

fwiw: I haven't had a Mcflurry in years. I just go to Dairy Queen

 

They also have really good Coke (the drink!!). Idk what kind of magical syrup they send to McDs but theirs is always better than anywhere else

 

Honestly, if I were running mcdonalds, I'd revamp the whole menu and make that the default burger. mac jr. Like a #1 at in-n-out or at wendys or shake shack or whatever. People don't realize how good it is. I'd make the menu at mcdonalds like 10 items. Keep apple pies as desserts, some fries, some shakes & cones. Make the mac jr your default and the big mac the double-double or premium sanwich. Keep the filet o fish and that new buttermilk chicken thing. Their menu is too big and too many of their items too shitty. Ditch the wraps, salads, all that bullshit. Mac Jr. Mac Jr. They should promote the hell out of those things. Special sauce is still special sauce.

I think the only place with better soda is chick-fil-a... and that's because of that whole fountain cherry coke thing.

 

I need to try it again then. I wasn't too impressed with the one I had, but if you say it's good then I'll have to give it another shot. they would be wise to listen to you imo. but McDonald's made the mistake of trying to cater to too many different kinds of people and it just doesn't work. you make poison, make it well.

 

I like it because it's not as gluttonous as the big mac. It has all the same ingredients, just in a reasonably sized sandwich. I don't need/want the extra patty nor do I want that extra piece of bread. If I'm really hungry, sure, but that combination of flavors works well with just one patty and two buns.

 

I didn't see that much difference beyond the size. I say go with the Grand Mac because more is better

 

So no Quarter Pounder? No McChicken? Wow.

My cousin's mom said I had to get him the apples instead of fries when we went and they were actually pretty legit.
