The Wal-Mart right by my house has a rack where they put baked goods for bargain prices when the best before date is about to turn over or whatever, so my roommates and I have arranged that whenever one of us passes by the store on the way back from school, we check the rack. Now we have a table at the house with like, 24 bagels, 2 packs of glazed mini donuts, 4 maple brown sugar muffins and a lemon loaf cake and all together it cost us three dollars

 

That's amazing and smart. I think I got a box of cookies for like $1.50 but there usually isn't much on the racks.

 

my friend loves to go to Walmart after 8 pm because the chicken tenders are like $1.50 and he is in love with them.

 

I just had my first bite of a chocolate bar in years and I immediately felt as if it were Halloween. Like, it didn't just make me think of Halloween. A wave rushed over me that made my soul feel as it does during the Halloween season. It was fucking weird

 

They sell boxes at the grocery store. I used to get it all the time but I think they changed the recipe slightly cause the last time I got a box it wasn't good anymore and they used to be a fave!

 

Important question: Do you eat the stuff on the outside before you bite it? Or eat it by biting into the whole thing?

also sad adult realization, the ice cream truck chipwiches are bad because the cookies get all hard, one with fresh cookies is great though

 

I can't wait until summer when the ice cream truck is back! I hope we still have the nice one with the cute dog bc they have ice cream cones and milkshakes!! The old ice cream truck was lame and had way less options and no dog to pet!

 

The ice cream truck never stops running here. It always shows up at the park when I take my daughter

 

I had pasta prima vera today!



The highlight of my food eating today was cinnamon glazed roasted cashews tho! They tasted like drops of heaven.

 

I order take out at this Chinese place so often that a new icon popped up in my frequently visited sites.

 

i tried to duplicate Trader Joe's broccoli chips...I oversalted and burnt them. thankfully it was just a 1.50 bag of frozen broccoli.

 

I've tried nearly every fast-food burger out there — here's who does it best

 

I love kale chips. They're so easy to make too.

 

lol I think I pissed off Sunny Anderson because I told her pancakes cooked in the microwave aren't pancakes.

 

how could you even microwave pancakes, like reheating frozen pancakes?

 

I guess they made microwaved cake and put in some berries and what not. I didn't even see it. I just saw Zakarian tweet about it lol. She seems bothered by it. I can't decide if I want to say anything back... pancakes are great because they're made in a pan.
