I could have bbq for every meal but alas that's the one type of food that's harder to find in New York

Glad you enjoyed it! This place sounds awesome. How long did it last? What all did they show? Were you the oldest person there? Do they do it often enough for you to go regularly?

It was three hours, and its curated by a girl from another city, and the same three hours is shown at a bunch of independent theatres across the country. In between each cartoon was commercials and PSAs from the time, along with "We'll be right back after these messages." A lot of old Canadian commercials. Commercials for Trix (where he actually got a bite of cereal), the introduction of presweetened Kool Aid, an old Burger King commercial, a Chef Boyardee commercial for pizza mix. As for the cartoons themselves, we got Clue Club, The Richie Rich and Scooby Doo (and Scrappy Too) show, The Addams Family Cartoon, The Completely Mental Misadventurss of Ed Grimley, The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, Robocop, Speedy Gonzales Merrie Melody, A Witch's Tangled Hare Episode of Looney Tunes, the Hillbilly Bears. I definitely wasn't the oldest one there. Lots of people around my age (20), lots of families, and definitely people on their thirties and forties riding solo too. As far as I know, it's a once a year thing. I first heard of it about this time last year, and have been waiting for this one to come since then. I imagine it takes a lot of time for the curator to put together the three hours, license everything, and the cereal must run up a bill too. I know the cost of the ticket goes toward the cereal - I don't think they're really making any money at all. I'll definitely be at every one to come though. I'm hoping they do a Halloween or Christmas themed one

I'm gonna need to get some cereal tonight.

also, this takes me back to camp, where we had giant cereal dispensers, but would limit the kids to 2 bowls per meal, and would then proceed to eat bowl after bowl at night when the campers were asleep.

I finally got my hands on some Kiwi Berries. They're good but really hard to find here. We don't have a lot of stuff here which is a huge pain in the ass.

I didn't see this post ending by comparing eating fur to eating Kiwi peel lol

@Kiana I don't peel mine. I like the peel too. I cut the middle out of cucumbers and pickles and eat the hard outside with just a teeny bit of the actual cucumber or pickle.
