I forgot about the lemon cookies. I still need to try those. I don't eat a ton of sweets, so I kind of stick to the same stuff when I do.

I always wondered why sonic has such vigorous advertising here cause the nearest is an hour away and there doesn't seem to be a whole ton of locations here in general but it's actually kinda genius. Tons of advertising so when u do see one it's like omg! I saw that on TV and I have been intrigued and I must go!

But they have so many options of drinks and stuff I get overwhelmed and idk what to choose

So when I make ramen, I boil the noodles, and then drain all the water. Scoop some butter in a bowl, and mix the cooked noodles and seasoning with the butter.

Cleveland/Ohio has a good amount of Sonic restaurants. I've actually never been haha. The commercials for Sonic are horrible though. However, we get commercials for Zaxby's (a southern fast food chicken restaurant), but don't even have one in the whole state. It's usually during a sporting event that it comes on, but it's a pretty consistent run up here.

When I moved to college there were 2 subways. By the time I left there were 8 different location. Who tf in that town eats enough subway to warrant 8 different locations?

i've been trying to figure out how to switch up ramen because 1) there aren't many common vegetarian options you'll find in most stores b) i think the sodium has started giving me headaches. maybe i'll just ditch the seasoning and use it in stir fry?

I can't get my hands on the damn things this year for some reason. I know they're popular but I'm not trying to camp out in order to buy some lol

That's how Subway rolls. From a pure business/franchising standpoint, they are one of the worst fast food companies out there. It's probably a dated book by now, but Fast Food Nation beyond dealing with the "PETA" side of things also talked about how a lot of the restaurants operate. If Subway sees a declining store, they would rather slowly kill it off by opening another store with a different franchisee than help or close the struggling the store. It's pretty crazy. It's very common for them to have restaurants really close in proximity and they are usually a different franchisee.

That is crazy but makes more sense to me now that you explained it. A couple were tiny like 3 booths and a drive thru which was a nightmare in itself and I never went back. This was before all the sub places there are now. I would still go to subway for the cookies though. They are bomb.

Yea that's part of the reason I started doing it this way, because I only use about half of the seasoning packet as if it was salt itself. Too much sodium for sure.

Haha the cookies are good. Although, I am a sucker for the oatmeal chocolate chip from Potbelly sandwiches. Not sure if they are down south or not.

I just try and limit how much I go there. If I have a choice, I go somewhere else. And now that they have phased out the $5 foot longs that could be two meals (with sides), I probably haven't been to one in over a year. I don't love McDonald's, but when I'm on the toll road, I have limited options at the stops. I accept that I'm not going to be perfect, so just try and be better as much as possible.

I went to Subway last night bc I was cold and broke and didn't want to walk anywhere else to get food. But the universe or w/e punished me for my horrible decision bc they were out of a lot of shit, the guy working there was mean and yelled at everyone, and the guy who sat at the table next to me chewed with his mouth open the whole time. Never being a cheap, lazy ass again >:-(

Omg I forgot the worst part of my heartbreaking tale: I was so anxious bc the guy was yelling at me so I told him mustard instead of mayo on accident :tear:And he put so much on it was basically a mustard sub. Terrible!!

Depending on the sandwich, I either would get the chipotle southwest sauce or the sweet onion sauce. Usually the sweet onion.

I don't even know what sauces they have since I never go there. I just screamed MUSTARD bc that guy was just giving me so much anxiety. Like I never order mustard.....why did I ask for it??? Damn anxiety strikes again!!

That's sounds like a really crummy experience haha. The person chewing with their mouth open would be the worst. I can tough a sandwich out that I don't particularly care for, but headphones is the only fix to the mouth breather. Perhaps that was a way of reminding yourself, "oh, yet another reason I don't normally go here". Mustard lol.

The Subway by my work is great, I go there very often. Italian BMT on white bread toasted with provolone, lettuce, tomatos, green peppers, banana peppers, jalapeƱos, onions, oil & vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano. I usually skip onions though since I'm at work and I don't wanna have bad breath. But ideally, there'd be some onions on dere

Lmao I did this today. I get weird anxiety so when the thing I usually order was no longer available I panicked and agreed to order something I don't even like lmao
