My standard slaw for pork/fish tacos is pretty good, but it could use some revision. I've been using the same one for years. It's very basic. I just absolutely love the fresh, bright punch in the mouth it hits you with. I toss the sliced cabbage + carrots with a vinaigrette made of jalapeno/serrano, shallot, lime juice, olive oil, honey, salt, pepper, cilantro... sometimes crema/sour cream too, especially if I'm making fish tacos.
