Doesn't sound like a bad idea. I used to warm up the apple pop tarts, break them up and use em as a topping on top or under vanilla ice cream with some caramel. Trust the process.

There's a farm here that sold homemade strawberry ice cream during the summer and it's the only strawberry I've ever really liked. Sad day when they closed for good.

I would always have this with my buttered pop tarts. This thread is nailing it today.

 

One part of this I love and one part of this I hate... lol. I just can't get over putting butter on fucking poptarts.

 

I'm telling you. Buy a two pack of plain, strawberry pop tarts, throw them in the toaster for a little bit, then spread a little butter on the tops. It's so good that I'm going to buy poptarts next time I get groceries. I haven't had it in years.
