Do you toast them first? I think this is the only way I can imagine this being acceptable

I don't. Put them on a plate, put butter all over them, then microwave. I think toasting before hand would take away from the chewyishness which is my fave part.

I have some frozen cod, potatoes, and canned corn in the cabinet... I think it's time to make a chowder, especially on this rainy, dreary day.

Rainy and dreary here too. The first since Winter started back in November. My favourite kind of weather.

I decided last night I'm going to finally take the dive and attempt for the first time to make the homemade baked mac and cheese my mom would always do for me growing up. I've had the recipe since moving away for university in August but I could never settle on a day where it felt right to go solo. But today is the (rainy and dreary) day.

Yeah man. Just kept it simple. Used fresh tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapenos, and squeezed lime juice in with a little garlic salt.

I love mac and cheese on days like these. What kind of cheese does your mom's recipe call for?

Sounds delicious. When simple is done right, it's the best.

Guy at work is trying to get me to eat a Root beer flavored pop tart

    ...but there's no butter.

Only thing I dig here is Lime Juice and Garlic Salt. What a weird Pico that would be.
Those aren't even remotely the same. Also do you butter them?

Looks like a big block of mild cheddar and a big block of sharp cheddar. The bread crumbs are what makes it, definitely
