Going to Universal Studios for the first time ever today. Having lunch at the Cheesecake Factory too. Not sure which one I'm more excited for tbh

I just posted this in another thread, but I'll post it here too. I went to visit my cousin in West Palm Beach. If anyone is going through there soon, you should definitely go to this diner called Howley's. I had this:

Brady's Brisket Patata Burrito slow-roasted brisket, black beans, mashed potatoes, salsa & cheddar cheese. smothered w/ monterey jack cheese & topped with a fried egg & jalapenos

    And it was amazing.

Nice. I've never been to the California one, but I've been to Universal in Florida a handful of times and always had a blast. I enjoyed it more than Disney, personally, which I know to some is blasphemy but whatever.

I haven't been in 8 years probably, so I'm sure stuff has changed, but The Mummy ride was dope last time I was there. Also, Back To The Future and Jaws are staples (assuming they still have them) even if they're not the "best" rides.

I rode The Hulk immediately after smoking a blunt filled with kief. Quite an experience. I think that's at Universal...

I think they took out the Jaws and BTTF rides, sadly. I'll definitely check out the Mummy ride tho. I hear the Hulk ride is cool, so I'm pretty excited for that one.

ET, Disaster, Twister are the best to me. They aren't "the best" rides either.

Can't believe they did away with Jaws. That's just crazy. I figured they would have changed BTTF to something else since it's a motion VR ride, but Jaws...

They didn't have the Hulk when I was there. Is it a roller coaster? I don't remember them having much in the way of large coasters, which I'm fine with because I'm a pussy, but the Mummy came close (albeit, it's a "smaller" coaster)

I have two days here so I'll try to fit in as much as possible. Twister is a must haha

I think they took those rides out to put in Diagon Alley, which is the best place if you like Harry Potter.

Edit: nevermind apparently I was wrong haha

Yeah the Hulk is one of their bigger coasters. It's got loops and corkscrews and whatnot. It's pretty badass.

Jaws is now part of the studio tour, at least in Hollywood. BTTF is now the Simpsons ride

Yeah, it's a roller coaster. Supposed to be one of the better rides. I can't for the life of me think of why they would get rid of the Jaws ride. The only thing I can come up with is that it's a generational gap kinda thing, and this new generation (at least most of them) don't even know what Jaws is. So sad

I'm still mad that they altered the Dragon Challenge ride so that the roller coasters don't go at the same time. I mean I guess it's safer that way but nobody ever got hurt when I was on it!!!

You guys ever leave your seatbelt undone on a coaster just for the added adrenaline rush?

I haven't been Ina really long time. I can remember being so upset that they got rid of King Kong because that ride was an experience to say the least lol

They're actually adding a new King Kong ride in Islands of Adventure, I don't know if I ever went on the original though so I don't know how they'll compare.

I have always appreciated the rides that make waiting in line not sucks so much. King Kong was like being stuck in subway tunnels and like ET you're wandering through a beautiful forest the whole time. AND ET SAYS YOUR NAME. So that's major cool points too.

Ever since that kid was decapitated by the Batman ride and a cable severed someone's leg on the Superman ride at 6 Flags in Atlanta..I follow ALL the rules.
