I will never understand preferring French toast to waffles but that's just life I guess

Waffles see usually too dense, I like the light fluff of a pancake

Also my experience with waffles is 95% Bisquick

 

well, there's your first problem

 

i can't hate on bisquick. i use it to make dumplings and they are great.

 

How do you make them

 

i have never made one. I trust the professionals to do that

i had brunch at this place in milwaukee the other week and it was so incredible.

chicken & waffles
it was smoked bbq chicken wings with a german waffle (fucking incredible) with over easy eggs and chili maple syrup.
