Pickles and hummus are both a part of Israeli cuisine

 

Ketchup and mac'n'cheese are both part of American cuisine but I'm not trying to dip my mac'n'cheese in ketchup.

 

But having pickles and hummus both in falafel sandwiches is a thing, not just that of course though

 

there's a meat market that recently opened up in the town i work in that just started serving lunch. they have good burgers and sandwiches but their fries are pretty much perfect. they cut the potatoes to where they're the same thinness as mcdonalds and fry them in peanut oil. so its basically mcdonalds fries from five guys and they are glorious.

 

I know Russia is on a lot of people's shit lists, so stuff like vodka had to be invented by Ukrainians, but I gotta give respect to pelmeni.

If you dunno what that is, it's kinda like won ton soup with way more won tons...which makes it way more better.

Only other shit they got nailed down is bread (holy fuck, put wonderbread against their shit and you will weep), and potatoes.

Sautéed mushrooms often make my knees week.

I honestly thought a bunch of people ate hummus like that. It's delicious.

 

I eat hummus like a normal person.

I almost died on this trip. BBQ in Memphis, tacos in Texarkana, enchiladas, huevos rancheros, epic brunch, and BBQ in Austin.

I've never had so much good food in such a short span in my entire life. And it was all fucking cheap.

I bet I gained five pounds lol

 

And I'm sure the tex mex and tex bbq were the highlights!

 

I am hungry. A ton of people I don't know are here and are standing eating in the small kitchen and I'm like... ok so just block the way I guess. And I could ask them to move but idk know them so it's scary!! But also like don't get in the way of my food!!
