I smell and look at things and if it's good I eat it even if its expired because I'm gross

 

I was reaaaaaally bad at first. I took no meat as I can just substitute bread, pasta, etc and that's a terrible thing to do lol

 

Decided to continue using the provolone and pepperoni I bought earlier.

Made an omelet and warmed some ricotta with some sauce while it was cooking. Put that in the middle and topped with a couple of slices of pepperoni and and cheese and folded over.

I should have used some italian seasoning and maybe a bit more salt, but it was decent.

 

I made avocado fries and a tempeh apple arugula sandwich. Avocado fries are a bit bland but I enjoy the texture more than I expected

 

Avocado fries sound interesting...

Trader Joe's has portabella fries that I really enjoyed, if you're into the not fry-fries thing

 

I've decided that I'm extremely upset at these non fries and I rebuke them. Fries are too amazing.

Also i learned that if I put open sparkling cider in the fridge for a day it doesn't go flat. All the wasted cider of my past is haunting me rn

There are bison in Savannah? I always thought of them up north and out west haha. I do like bison burgers though. I'm thinking more traditional Southern food though.

 

well, since you have had one (which I recommended because I thought I remembered you saying you hadn't) I would go with more traditional southern food, like you said. there are places there that are incredible and then there are the shitty ones masquerading as fine dining, so just be careful and check reviews before going somewhere. I have had some of the best food ever there and some food that still makes me cringe when I think about it, so even there is a crap shoot. but you're smart enough to find a good place. enjoy

 

any suggestions? I'd love to hear some. The only place I had in mind is that cotton & rye that I just shared the link to.

 

i don't remember the names of a lot of the places, but I can say that crystal beer parlor is dope af. you would love it. that's where I had the best bison burger ever. it's mostly centered on burgers and beer (and they have A LOT of beer) but if you're in the mood for that style of food, you can't miss with that place.
