Same, yo. We did Christmas on Christmas Eve and I worked yesterday... it was definitely not spirited around here.
Also, best deviled eggs: 50/50 mayo and miracle whip (I know, I know - it's what my parents had and I'm glad I discovered this), tablespoon or two of mustard, season with celery salt. It's all to taste since it depends on how many eggs you're making. But the basic ratio is 2:2:1 mayo/MW/mustard. Sooooooooo good!

I like my deviled eggs with mayo, mustard, salt, lil bit of vinegar, paprika... and relish if I'm feeling ~fancy. I pretty much like any recipe which is why I was shocked! The ones I had last night I swear were just mayo and a pound of salt. The mixture was even like piped into the eggs all swirly and fancy so I thought I was in for the most delish thing in my life and it was a lie!!

 

I can't explain why but this picture greatly upsets and bothers me in so many ways

Leftover tamales with beans and rice. Tried making hot chocolate. Didn't realize the cup had a lil metal trim so it started sparking and almost caught fire.

 

yesterday my aunt's boyfriend made these tamales and they were bomb.

I warmed up the leftovers today and they weren't as bomb as yesterday. I was sad.

 

ok so is eating tamales at or around Christmas some kind of weird ass tradition I don't know about or are you all just happening to eat tamales in the last two days?
