Amen. There's this really unassuming place by me; seems like a regular everyday diner but they have some of the most amazing quesadillas I ever tasted. I forgot the name and it's haunted me since; like when you can't remember a song you know you love lol.

 

Shazam but for quesadillas

 

I will find it somehow, I don't even remember the town haha fuck me.

There is another diner in the opposite direction down the island here on Long Island with amazing penne alla vodka... which is 1a to chicken quesadillas. Knowing the best diners for certain foods is very Long Island of me... lol

I've decided I'm gonna make a chorizo, and I shudder to say this, sweet potato chili and a beef and dark chocolate chili.

 

Is a chicken parm sandwich too many calories?

Potatoes aren't supposed to be sweet.

 

I'll put it like this, days that I indulge in a sweet potato are SO MUCH better than days I do not indulge in a sweet potato.

Best way to describe my feelings.

 

Sweet potato fries are so good. My parents freak out whenever they're on the menu they think it's like the fanciest thing ever I'm like "it's just a different potato you're still eating fries".

 

They are a pretty minor addition and I can kinda taste the dish in my head and I understand why they are included.

I'm gonna hunt down some Japanese sweet potatoes because they have a milder flavor and I think they will work better.

 

Sweet potato fries >>>>>waffle and curly fries>>>>>> all other fries

 

a hash made with sweet potatoes is better than a hash made with regular potatoes.
