I just started bringing random things to eat from home in hs. I lived alone with my dad and so he just bought a ton of junk food all the time and i'd bring that. I remember it was considered uncool to eat at the cafeteria. you were cool if you had friends with cars and left campus.

In middle school we had a snack bar thing you could pay extra for and soda vending machines but they took it all out a few years later to be healthy

 

we weren't allowed do drive off campus because some kids had gotten into a car accident years ago rushing back from lunch, I think that was a real thing but it might have just been an urban legend I literally just realized 10+ years later

 

The last Thursday of each month Seniors were allowed off campus for lunch but no one else could. I was in a club that had reps from each school and we met once a month off campus.

My senior year we went and grabbed food and swam in my parents pool so when we went back to school everyone was sopping wet. They tried to give us detention but we were like no way, we were back on time. They never said what we could or couldn't do with our time.

 

We weren't supposed to leave either, the reasoning was that they didn't want the school to be liable if something happened I think. Lots of seniors with unassigned periods would be allowed to leave and sometimes they brought their friends stuff

 

You couldn't leave campus if you were a freshman but everyone did anyway and nobody got busted. except me of course. that's when I learned to never bother breaking rules cause I always get caught when nobody else does. I think I left to buy a copy of AP magazine that The Academy Is... was on the cover of lmao

 

I just made grits with cheese and bacon and I needed to tell someone(s).

 

When it's cold i like to eat Thai food for some reason

I just dropped food on the floor and put it back on my plate. my floor is not clean either. the shaaaaaame. I'm grossed out but I'm hungry so... yeah

I always follow those rules but I haven't swept or mopped my floors in a while. like I should have just thrown it away. it's not cute.

 

As long as there is no hair on it it's fine, imo.

 

Dairy milk til I die.

When I was in elementary and middle school the only options were milk, chocolate milk, or juice, but in high school we had soda fountains.

We also weren't allowed to leave campus for lunch but it was a known fact that you could bribe the parking lot attendant with Taco Bell

 

It wouldn't feel so bad tho if it weren't so windy.

 

Parking lot attendant? I've never heard of a school having those before lol That's awesome.

 

I might have picked a hair or two off...... I shed a lot so my hair is on the floor. I gagged and picked it off and said at least it's mine? the shaaaaaaame

 

Haha I walked my dog earlier and we started with the wind, but on the way home we were against the wind and he reaaaaally picked up his pace

 

I don't know if that was his actual title or it was like groundskeeper or something but his name was Fidel and he had a little booth in the parking lot and if you tried to leave during school hours he would question you

Veggie mandarin orange chicken and cranberry sauce. not all of it... just a lil lol


But now I'm drinking expired orange juice so it can only go up from here!

 

We had 3-4 rent-a-cop dudes in our parking lots in high school. It pretty big tho almost 3000 kids
