Nah. I'm never going back to them - Like, I had surgery a year ago and life going forward will not have them :P

I didn't think I'd make it, but it's honestly easy to not eat carbs when they make you sick. lol

 

Oh, I thought you meant a year until you could eat that stuff. Is there a substitute that you could use in place of tortillas?
My gastrointestinal system will fail when I'm 40 and you'll still be alive and well so there's definitely a upside haha.

 

I could probably use egg crepes or something, but honestly I'd probably just be fine with putting a bit of enchilada sauce and cheese on some rotisserie chicken or something

was not impressed by Shake Shack.
there's another place that people called a shake shack clone on the other end of the mall, and imo they do it better.

 

Still haven't tried Shake Shack, but I want to. Although I'm not really rushing to wait in line for an hour and pay $15 for a burger and fries.

I like that the family in the video has a Keurig for cookies but still uses a traditional coffee maker

 

Drunk Shake Shack is great. Drunk Tasty Burger is great too

 

i've only had shake shack once but i really really liked it. love those style of burgers. it was like a better version of in n out.

 

There's a Shake Shack about 25 miles from me. Is that worth the drive?

I had Shake Shack for the first time last year when we moved to the East Coast and I was surprised at how good it was.

 

i mean, i'm a big fan. if i had one 25 miles from me i'd definitely go every so often. maybe every few months if i was in the mood for it.

 

I've had the shroom burger/shroom stack, and the chicken sandwich. everything tasted just fine, but wasn't enough for me to justify the price/burger size ratio.
BurgerBurger, their "clone" is similarly priced/sized, they've just got more (and tastier) options for the burgers, plus delicious sauces for their fries (which are also much better), like truffle aioli and sriracha mayo.

there was a lot of hype for shakeshack and I had really high expectations, especially after reading that burgerburger just copied them, and I knew that I realllly loved their burgers.

in summary, if you're down for a burger at the Mall of America, go to BurgerBurger, they do Shake Shack better than Shake Shack.

 

The burger place across from Shake Shack looked good when I was there last week. And my friend was raving about Little Tokyo. And also the fry place.

I had Qdoba. :(

 

I'll have to check it out next time I'm out that way.

not to start another comparison conversation but now I want in n out.

 

We don't have BurgerBurger's round here but the fry stuff sounds awesome. Shake Shack's fries aren't great. But I really like the Shroom Stack and the chicken sandwich so it's a bummer you didn't like it as much.

 

I'd like to congratulate myself for not unleashing on muttley when I heard the completely untrue statement of crab being overrated

 

@muttley 's mom is overrated.

 

Crab is awesome, it just takes may too much effort to get out of the shell.

Crab is amazing. Crab dip is the best dip. The only thing better than crab is lobster.
