Omg I'm the opposite. I got an iced coffee once and it made me so nauseous I thought I was gonna puke all day. Idek why I got it iced. I was all shy and the barista asked "iced?" And for some reason I said yes

 

I prefer milk to coffee, so the more the ratio towards that direction, the better

 

I drink mine black until the holidays when those limited edition creamers come out.

 

I drink mine with a splash of milk, or black if only cream is available.

 

I have to have cream and sugar. Never been a fan of iced coffee. It never really made sense to me.

 

Yeah iced black coffee is so bad. Iced coffee has to be sweet.

 

I guess I don't really know how I like my coffee. I drink it every morning at work, but it's just whatever coffee we have here plus hazlenut creamer. I've never bought coffee ever, but I guess if I did I would experiment with what I liked.

I like my coffee with beer mostly

 

Coffee gotta be so full of sugar and creams that it doesn't taste like coffee anymore for me to like it. Peppermint white mocha ftw.

 

lol I'm the same way. Everyone here is like "a dash of milk" and I'm like Leslie Knope dumping that sugar in until I can't taste the coffee

I just can't do black coffee

 

I think black is definitely an acquired taste.

 

I drink black because for some reason I convince myself it has more caffeine and it has healing powers for

1) hangovers
or if
2) I'm really sleepy and I want to wake up
or
3) I'm trying to impress my in-laws

 

I can drink black if it's good coffee and not just like generic Folgers or something. Even then I typically add just a little bit of sugar and milk.

That said I definitely prefer really sweet and fixed up coffee, just don't have the funds/resources for it I guess. I mean cmon it's delicious

 

Used to be cream and a lil sugar but I've been black for probably the past couple years. I don't drink it that often, though, despite liking it.

 

For regular coffee drinkers, how much do y'all spend on it a year? Sometimes I see ppl come in with their big Starbucks or Dutch Bros cups every single morning and I'm like dang, I bet that adds up! I don't think I can will myself to get up earlier to get coffee every morning either. That line every morning is ridic! But I know a lot of ppl make it at home too.

 

I usually make my coffee at home, but if I'm in need of a fix, stop by Dunkin for a cup. I used to have $100 Starbucks Gold Rewards card and it refilled probably only once or twice a year.

 

Me and a guy at work split the cost of Costco sized boxes of K-cups and creamer so it's not that bad

 

There's coffee at work that I don't have to buy. Usually buy a bag of beans for home that lasts like a month. Probably average 2-3 drinks from coffee shops a month. So I guess like $25-30 a month?

 

I brew my own. If I buy Maxwell House, I finish it and then the next kind I buy is expensive. I switch on and off like that.

 

I usually just drink coffee when it's free (at work, on flights, in hotels, etc.). I buy small bags of (slightly more expensive) coffee to brew at home on a Saturday or Sunday. And Starbucks is a once in awhile thing. I don't think I really spend much on coffee in a given year. Beer on the other hand, holy shit I don't want to know.

 

wow damn didn't expect so many not-fans-of-black. i guess i'm not super surprised, but idk i feel like anything you add to coffee invariably takes away from the great taste of coffee (note: this is arguably not relevant in cases of instant coffee but i'm a creature of habit in those cases as well)

 

Anyone know any black coffee elitists? That shit is so annoying.

but real talk how on earth do people put so much sugar and creamer in coffee like you are just showing how little u appreciate this beverage
