i'm not saying ketchup is necessary on your scrambled eggs, i haven't done it myself in years. i can't say i've ever even bought ketchup. but it is an acceptable condiment in certain circumstances.

when i go to a diner for breakfast, this is my typical order. eggs (over easy), bacon, hashbrowns, with pancakes on the side. everything except the pancakes gets mixed together.
