In other news, I made white chicken chili for dinner and it is awesome.

 

I call them jojos and potato wedges. I've never really thought about why they're called jojos tho

my mom calls them mojos as I was growing up so that's what I've always called them.

 

But isn't it really like..a fat French fry?

 

I was wondering why they're called steak fries anyway, they have nothing to do with steak and if I didn't know what they were I would assume they were fried strips of steak or something

See I don't think of a potato wedge being the same as a steak fry like remotely

 

Potato logs are so good. They don't taste like any other fries or anything to me.

 

my problem with potato wedges/steak fries is that they're usually not very crispy.

 

This deli here has the best jojos. You get a bunch for less than a dollar. They're def not crunchy but they're so heavenly. They're like... flaky and melt in your mouth idek how to describe it but it has raised the bar because now I think all other jojos suck

 

save mart here has the best mojos and also the chicken strips are A+ also.

 

Piggly Wiggly has the best ones I've ever had but I don't think those exist in many places anymore? Blessed to still have one here.

 

Does Yellow/Orange American Cheese make it better?
