I don't know if my introduction to them should be dependent on my own skill as a cook

 

There's a chain in CT called Chip's that makes potato pancakes but they add all the ingredients to actual pancake batter and it is amazing.

The Maple Leaf Diner that I posted about on the last page serves them. Never had them there before though... Also Dallas NY Style Deli, Dallas Deli, Bakery, Catering - Cindi's New York Deli

 

I love Marietta Diner. My only complaint is that the menu is like 20 pages long. I just need like 2 pages so I don't take an hour to decide.

tbh I live in MA so I dont eat in CT often other than Enfield, but its mostly just chains there except for a few really good Mexican places

 

What about in Massachusetts?

 

Also, you never told me the name of the all you can eat sushi place.

 

It's pretty good. They have some Jewish food (Matzo Ball Soup, Latkes, etc...) that you can't get other places.

 

Yeah I'm not sure I've had anything that would be considered Jewish food either

 

I've never had any of the Jewish food from Cindy's, but growing up Jewish, I have had potato latkes and matzo ball soup many times. Try both of them if you get the chance.
