I reread the whole thing after I posted the link and it's worse than I remember somehow

 

The worst part were the comments. Nobody seemed phased by the casual racism on display.

That is not the color I would assume mixing A1 and mayo would create.

Last night I made this: (Esquites) Mexican Street Corn Salad - Host The Toast

It was awesome.

Tonight, I'm thinking Hasselback potatoes and some sort of chorizo with chicken dish.

 

Sounds delicious. I've always thought about making hasselback potatoes, but never have.

And I'm considering just drinking the garlic confit and skipping the potatoes entirely.

 

Looks great. I do a similar thing with garlic when I make spaghetti, based off scott conant's recipe, which I think is the best I've had.

Maybe I'll make spaghetti tonight. It's date night and I don't know what to make.

 

I had a waffle for breakfast and I plan on having pancakes for supper.

 

Normally I'd have pancakes for breakfast and waffles for supper, but to each their own.

Yesterday I ate at some weird new restaurant and had a grilled pork chop in a red wine sauce, parmesan green beans, and a mushroom bread pudding. Some of the other menu items I was looking at were a fried pork chop typed with a waffle and syrup, and chicken and biscuits. The decor was very western, like a lot of places around here, but they were playing Motown. Anyway the food was good, will go back

 

had holiday inn express for breakfast. english muffin w/ peanut butter and jelly, eggs, sausage, greek yogurt.

 

I assume you weren't staying there, you just dropped by.

 

That's one of my go to date night dinners. It's fun for everyone and surprisingly easy.

When we moved to Connecticut we came out to look for an apartment and stayed at a HIE for a week. Their breakfast was surprisingly proficient. Bacon days were the best.

 

agreed, bacon > sausage. love me their pancake machine.

 

How much do you think one of those things costs?

i'm not sure but you i'd be lying to myself if i said i didn't dream of having one in my kitchen. fuck counter space, it'd be worth it.

today they didn't, but it was a bit different as i'm in canada. usually they do and they're p good.
