I'm about to go try poutine at the local poutine place. I'm prepared to feel conflicted.

 

gonna make some grasshopper pie this afternoon

 

I have some cheese and random food items in my house so I'm thinking of inventing my flamenco fries. I need to check to see if the cheese is still good. I haven't opened my fridge in a while....

they had like 10 different kind of poutines here and I was so confused.

 

I still don't have a firm grasp on what poutine is, besides it involving gravy on fries

 

I'm not sure I pronounce it right in my head

 

I think I messed up by getting a speciality poutine instead of just a traditional one but it was still good. I'll probably come back soon to try it again.

I doubt the place will survive here though because it was empty as heck and it's in a prime spot in our mall.

 

I think traditionally it's fries covered in gravy with cheese curds

 

I'm Canadian and have never really been into any sort of speciality poutine. Then again, I've never really been into pineapple on pizza so maybe I'm boring

 

Cheese curds are also an abstract concept for me

 

I'm trying to make macaroni that's not kraft. I didn't have enough of the ingredients which is fine cause it's just me so I tried to do the right math with ingredients to make a smaller serving. Pray for me yall!!

Sounds gross but what is it exactly? Only think I can think is Grasshopper cookies or bugs

ehhhh. It tasted fine but it was a lil dry. I didn't have as much cheese as I thought. I also made the butter/flour mixture like the recipe said but I'm a dumbass and forgot to add milk and I was like "hmm this is silly what's the point of this clumpy mixture?" and then the lightbulb went off so I had to scramble to mix it in and thicken it up lol.
