I had homemade orange chicken and fried rice for dinner. It was delicious.

 

Chicken fajitas are top 3 for me. They're "last meal" good if you go to the right place.

 

We went to get BBQ and I wanted to sit and cry because I couldn't eat meat. I had okra and fries which were good but they make the most fantastic brisket there and I was bummed.

 

How long were you planning to not eat meat? It was temporary, right?

 

Yeah. We decided on a month and it's been 11 days..

 

It gets real easy when you forget what meat tastes like!

 

My gma and I always bring food for each other whenever we visit. She likes this one place and I got her fried chicken, potato logs, banana pudding, and caramel cream candy things she likes.

I called ahead to tell her I'd be there with food so for her not to eat lunch. My mouth was salivating over her plate of food the entire time I was eating my salad.

 

Speaking of BBQ, I know you don't live IN ATL but have you had Fox Bros BBQ? We had it when we went in Feb and it was pretty good for non-Texas BBQ

 

I have! It's close to my sister's apartment. It's pretty good but the farther you go south the better. Same goes for sweet tea.

I made a smoothie with carrots, celery and kale and it's not bad, then again I balanced it out with fruits

 

Still haven't had kale. I'm not in a hurry.
