Ordered some Chinese food tonight for the first time in months and it was so greasy and bad for me and incredible

Do you just think of Stumptown as local? They're kinda huge now aren't they?

I use a blade grinder that was probably bought for like $15-20 and it's a fine grind, but I get it courser by pulsing the button. But yeah, with the grocery store beans and microwaved water I'm slumming a bit.

I also have a moka pot, but I don't use it often

 

They are, and growing all the time! And they got bought recently I think by Peets. But I still think of them as local because they do some of the roasting not that far from me and that's where I get some of the beans.

 

Oh, yeah. I heard about them getting bought. I first heard about them because a local coffee shop here carries them

I've only ever had a fried snickers. We don't have fairs or anything here so I was excited to try one but it just kind of tasted like a melted snickers from the microwave or something

Had an angus carne asada burrito today and it really hit the spot. The place I went to has great horchata, too.

 

@muttley glad to see another Horchata fan, i know most people don't like it.

Basically it tastes like sweetened milk. It's good with rum as well. They even have a RumChata that's essentially that and it's also delicious.

My wife, don't even know why I married her after that!

 

Been craving Which Wich lately, will probably go sometime in the next hour.

Most of my mornings are spent craving food and then subsequently following through on said cravings.

 

Damn, I don't know if I'd like Horchata then, because I don't like milk. Rumchata on the other hand, sounds pretty good.

 

What'd you get there? I've only tried their philly's but I wasn't impressed. Too many places make philly's by sending them through an oven instead of cooking everything on the grill. Publix philly's used to be AMAZING, and then they switched to the oven method.

 

Some kind of Italian with like, onions, tomatoes, hot peppers, extra meat and cheese, green peppers, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper and oregano. I live in Raleigh, NC and there's only so many places you can get a good sandwich. Which Wich does a pretty good job.

I had their philly once and it was nothing to write home about.

 

The oven just doesn't get the meat all the same temperature. It doesn't cook, just warms.

The sandwich you get sounds great though.

I love it most of the time. Every now and then I'll get it somewhere where it's less milky and has a strong cinnamon taste. Not a fan of it that way.

 

I hate milk and love horchata, especially with strawberries

I like fast food burgers with tons of onion crisp thingies and jalapenos.
