This reminds me of a butternut squash hash I make with serranos, onions, cumin, and smoked paprika. I serve it with spice rubbed pork loin and a blackberry sage brown butter. I haven't made that in forever.

Ranch is almost always upgraded by becoming blue cheese. Duck fat fries crave garlic or malt vinegar aioli, not ketchup.

Bleu cheese is the only food item I really dislike. It's sickening.

the problem with blue cheese is that there are a lot of brands of it that really aren't good at all. so i can totally understand how someone could not like it.

 

Yeah I totally get that. Most of the ones I've had that are bottled in the store are fucking awful. Wingstop has the best blue cheese I've ever had, I think.
