I've always loved the diversity of biscuits at breakfast. So much you can put on them. Jelly, syrup, gravy, honey, butter and sugar

 

I would be content to die in a bathtub of Cracker Barrel dumplings or, as they call them, dumplins.

 

I haven't had it in a long time, but I used to eat toast with just butter, sugar, and cinnamon a lot as a kid. Yum

 

I never knew about this. Wonder if Six Flags Over Texas does this too. I may have to look into this.

 

Baked in oven/toaster oven or in toaster then add toppings?

Put all toppings on then put it in toaster oven. The sugar caramelizes a little and it's so fucking good. I'm going to make that for a snack when I get home later.

 

Peanut butter and jelly is great on toast.

As a kid for a snack we always had heated tortillas with melted butter and cinnamon and sugar with the tortilla rolled up. I haven't had one in years.

 

Homemade flour tortillas with melted butter is the best. I used to eat so many of those growing up. Sooooo good.

 

When I was younger, my sister and I had this at a babysitter's house. Pretty sure it gave my sister food poisoning. I found it delicious.

Is tortillas with butter a normal thing to order as an appetizer at a Mexican restaurant? My parents always have and it's delicious, but I'm not sure I've ever seen it on a menu

 

I'm pretty sure our Spanish instructor in high school made these for us.

 

I've never seen it on a menu but there used to be a local place here that brought it out with the chips and salsa.

I have never had just butter on a tortilla.

Butter with tortillas is definitely something people order. Not typically on a menu, although I've seen it once or twice.

Also whenever we get chips and queso, we always ask for tortillas too to dip in the queso.

 

This is one of my favorite recipes and I recommend that everyone tries it, if you eat meat:

I will replace the sweet potato with potato because sweet potato is gross.
