Making jalapeno poppers. One of the peppers grew on my balcony. The rest have been frozen for a few months, so hopefully they're not garbage

 

I always avoid asking for extra rice and beans, even when they short me. I need to take this approach.

 

Made roasted cod tonight. Recipe said I was supposed to season it with chili powder but I used Old Bay instead because I'm from Maryland and that's what we do.

 

I just don't ask for anything that costs extra. Plus I find that most things are best the way they come.

 

I've been eating a lot of pistachios lately. Publix has surprisingly mediocre pistachios. And while Wonderful pistachios are definitely good, I honestly find the Great Value ones from Wal-Mart to be the best of all of them. Eat more pistachios. Your body will thank you later

 

Moneybags over here can afford nuts!

 

I can't afford cashews and it really hurts.

 

Is that much salt good for you?

 

Really need to try liver. Apparently it's even better than a multi vitamin for nutrients, so I feel like I'm an idiot for taking the pills.

 

Not really, no, but I try not to eat too many of them at a time, and I also try not to consume too much salt in general. You should be more worried about Oreos than pistachios tho. They're full of salt

 

Pistachios are the best.

 

I feel like I spend half my food budget on nuts most weeks. Especially cashews and walnuts, but pistachios are great too.

 

I'm sure anything that's ducking delicious is full of salt honestly.

I like watching Chopped but it stresses me out. I can only do one thing at a time. I'm the worst multitasker in the kitchen.

 

I can't multitask in the kitchen at all. I get stressed. Tonight I'm trying to time green bean casserole and Mac n cheese. We'll see lol

 

Man Food Network is a good 40% of my TV watching.

My junior and senior year of college, all I watched was literally just Food Network, Travel Channel, and HGTV.

 

Great British Baking Show is a lot of fun, I watched some of the second season last year and it was super relaxing.


I went to Chick Fil A the other day and forgot to ask for Chick Fil A sauce. I was so pissed on the drive home but the food was still amazing as always.

 

I need at least two of those and two Polynesians or the trip is basically wasted. Of course the food is still great, but their sauces are half of the appeal (for me).

 

Just one Polynesian for the sandwich and several ketchups for the fries

 

Chickfila sauce for nuggets and Polynesian for fries unless I get a sandwich or wrap then it's Chickfila sauce for fries.
