Fruity pebbles are nearly perfect... why change them?

My sister is doing the vegan thing but her favorite foods have a lot of cheese in them. Do places make like cheese pizza and cheesy pasta for vegans? Whenever I suggest something she's like that's cooked in butter so I've stopped suggesting things lol

 

There are vegan cheese substitutes like daiya , if you mean like at restaurants I think only if they cater to vegans

 

I meant both. We tried some kind of cheese and it was grosssss.

 

Any vegan or gluten free substitutes I've had have ever been terrible or great,not for dietary reasons just try to convince myself that gluten free cookies are healthy

 

I've had some almond milk cheese before and it wasn't terrible. The taste was alright... texture was the worst part.

 

Yeah, I have a really tough time with textures of all foods. I think that might have a had a big part in me not liking whatever that cheese was called.

 

My favorite pizza place makes a really good vegan pizza. I need to find out what brand they're using because it's the only time I've liked a cheese substitute.

 

Yeah, I don't think I could have eaten it on its own, but when used as a garnish in a dish or something, I could stand it.

 

I regret that Subway successfully stomped out Quiznos so well. Subway is never a very satisfying meal and it's always something you just eat because it's there and it's cheap. I worked at Quiznos as a teenager and I think the quality was much better

 

I had Quiznos once and didn't like it. I don't remember how it tasted. I'm sure at the time all I was thinking was, "BUT IT'S NOT SUBWAY."

I like Quiznos and we still have one but it's pricey and I rarely go + it doesn't have a drive thru.

Our pizza Hut here went out of business so now domino's doesn't do as good of promo deals cause they have almost no competition. I know blah blah eat better pizza but in some places there isn't many options!!

 

Here Dominos has a 2 for $5.99 each deal, you can get two medium 2-topping pizzas for $5.99 apiece which is about as good as you can get when it comes to pizza chain deals. Plus I like it more than Pizza Hut

 

What all did you get?

 

My fiancée made me ^ Cincinnati spaghetti I guess it's called. It was delicious.

 

Is that chili? If so, good choice.

It's home made chili on top. She threw in some turkey ground for the meat. I was impressed.

 

Was it Quiznos that had delicious soup? I'm probably totally wrong.

 

Skyline chili?

 

They had broccoli cheese, chili, corn chowder, and some other fourth thing. It wasn't bad, but it was thawed soup from a bag.

 

What's that lol?

 

I have a friend that is a manager of Panera bread and she brought us macaroni and soups from there which were all from a bag too.
