Butter with jelly on top is the grandest toast topping

 

I always called it toast with a hole and an egg in the middle. Never tried making it tho cause I figured I'd screw it up.

 

cinnamon sugar on toast. served with hot chocolate. the way mammy used to make.

 

I honestly can't even remember what an English muffin tastes like? It's not something that I would buy in stores or anything.

 

They're delightful. You need to have some again.

English muffins are ok but I prefer bagels or toast.

French toast is my jam. I didn't know anyone could screw it up until my old rm made it for me once and it was nasty lol. She used regular bread. Wtf is that? Cinnamon bread or get out!

 

Regular white bread is the normal way to make ou it, lol. But you add cinnamon and powdered sugar after you cook it of course

 

add cinnamon to the batter!

 

Naw it's not as good to just add cinnamon before or after. I keep cinnamon swirl or Cinnabon bread in my freezer for French toast making. Regular bread doesn't come close to comparing

How does everyone eat their biscuits and gravy?

With butter on biscuits, then gravy on top? No butter and just gravy over it? Or the best way, butter and grape jelly then gravy on top?

I've always eaten mine the latter way and it disgusts my wife out.

I've yet to have biscuits and gravy.

When I have chili dogs, I usually eat a couple buns with chili and no dog. If that's the type of texture you get with B&G, I'd probably like it.

The bun and chili is the main reason I like eating chili dogs. The hotdog is extra.

I like when something is smothered over bread. It's a great texture. Screw it, I'm trying B&G next time I go to Cracker Barrel.
