Food people help me out.

Back in the day when I was like 6-10 (late 90s, early 00s) my family would have this Mexican dish every Friday Night. It was definitely a boxed meal like El Paso or the like and involved Rice. It had some sort of Mexi-merican fake ass name but it was amazing and I've been trying to find it for like the last decade. It wasn't a typical taco or burrito kit but I cannot remember the name

Any ideas?

 

This probably isn't it but it's the first thing that came to my mind.

No, dude, and that's the hardest thing. I recall it had rice and beef in it and it wasn't a taco or a typical food container for Mexican Food. You ever eat something a while ago and have something similar (in my case, any sort of Mexican dish with rice and refried beans) and have a sensory flashback to another meal? That's what happens to be every now and then and I can't, for the life of me, place what the food was.

I'm 99% sure it was Old El Paso and could have possibly had like Santa Fe or something in the title, but I've googled and found nothing.


Also, Fajita Hot Pockets and Mexican Style Tombstone Pizza were the best

 

Mexican Style Tombstone Pizza was a staple for when friends would sleep over. So good.

I give them all a chance. I just didn't care for the caramel apple ones at all.

 

I would try all of them, and probably end up liking almost none of them.

 

I think I've only tried mint, strawberry ice cream?, and pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice wasn't great I guess

 

They should make a variety pack so I don't have to spend $4 to try new flavors

 

I don't like pumpkin anything.

 

Even pie? One of the greatest pies of all time?

 

Bleh. I like carving pumpkins though.
