Pineapple fried rice, I just said!!! But really, I'd look at the menu to see the descriptions to see what sounds the best and then maybe have the server help narrow it down. I've never had Vietnamese food (we don't have any here ) but at least with Thai none of it is really so ~out there that I have no idea if I'll like it. Or sometimes if I'm intimidated by a menu I look through yelp and see what the most popular dish seems to be lol or what looks the best in the pictures

 

I've been watching Anthony Bourdain's show a lot lately and I feel nothing but shame when I think of the boring garbage I eat.

 

Vietnamese: pho, banh mi, spring rolls
Thai: coconut curry chicken

 

Just had a double-decker bacon grilled cheese sandwich.

Surprisingly disappointing.

 

Neither bacon nor cheese have the ability to sustain a sandwich. A meat must be had.

Also you know a bbq place is legit when they also host CHL classes

 

Chase, buddy, bacon is a meat.

 

I would argue that it is more of a topping

Unless you have a sizable mound of it. Then it can be your meat.

 

One thing I've learned in life about bacon on sandwiches: there's never enough of it.

 

Then there's the baconator, which basically comes with two pigs on it. Fuck that thing.

 

Update on these pulled pork-less sandwiches: not that amazing. Prob won't buy them again. My salad and this nectarine are both good tho!

 

I had peanut butter and bacon on a hamburger a few months ago and it was super rad

I'd probably butcher this if it tried it at home somehow so I need to find a restaurant that serves this.

I considered it. I needed a big supply for a week or two of "breakfasts" so once again, I stuck with familiarity.
What do those taste like? Trix?
