It’s snowing today so I needed some nice comfort food. These banana pepper pierogis are my favorite quarantine purchase

Like, the fact that this is marinated and roasted rice paper is blowing my mind right now.

So we have an extra pound of organic chicken breast we didn't realize because Instacart didn't check the weight...

We froze it on 4/25, it has a sell by date of 5/3, and we moved it to the fridge on Monday to thaw out for the recipe we didn't end up using it for. Would y'all think that's still safe to cook?

Any advice for a quick and easy meal to make when we really just have a bunch of seasoning and pasta in the house? Wish we had some potato's or rice on the side..

Do ittttt. We are making a bunch of it. Gonna use some on pizza today and probably on some vegan coney dogs later this week.

I would think it’s fine. You froze it well before the sell by date, and chicken usually lasts a bit beyond that even in the fridge. Plus it’s absolutely a meat where if it has turned, you will KNOW. As long as the color looks normal and it doesn’t have any kind of odor I’d go for it.

Do you have anything like lemon juice, capers, butter, vinegar, anything else in that kind of realm? Or is it definitely just dry spices?

That sounds so good! I have some tomatoes, spinach, and avocado I need to use so I’ll probably make a BLT and put it on some veggie burgers.

Let me know if you use it in any dishes where it gets reheated or exposed to liquid. I usually use bacon in dishes rather than by itself, and I wonder how the rice paper texture would hold up.

Awesome thanks!! It's really just dry spices and canola oil that we have :-/

I did find this recipe though which looks really good! Going to try it out: Juicy Oven Baked Chicken Breast - Cafe Delites

The only thing I'm missing is Paprika so I'm hoping it tastes ok enough without it, and we'll have to sub the olive oil with canola oil

If I can lend some advice for flavor, and if you have the time, I would suggest brining it in a bit of water, about 2 tbsp salt, 1 Tbsp sugar, and pepper overnight! It gets all the gross stuff out of the chicken and makes it super moist after you cook it. Not to mention good flavor and caramelization from the sugar

This was a good one - rotini with charred kale, onions, garlic, basil, Campari tomatoes, and hot sausage in a sauce that has like barely any milk in it.

I don't have a ton unfortunately, in that the menu didn't say what the burger was made out of. but it was dope. my guess it white beans.

Does anyone have any recipes that use ramps that they really like? We cleaned up the garden at my apartment today and found a ton of them.
