Is it a vinegar thing? I don't get it.

 

Yeah all this pickle talk today made me just go eat a few slices directly out of the jar a minute ago, the craving was too much.

And what about pickled red onions? Or pickled jalapenos.

 

Yep. Ginger, cherry peppers, Fresno chiles, carrots, the list goes on and all of them are amazing.

 

Pickled red onions rule. Jalapeños I’ve got to the point where I always prefer fresh but pickled will do in a pinch

 

I prefer fresh jalapenos too, but other peppers are great pickled.

this stuff belongs on every hoagie ever.

I worked at Jimmy John's briefly in college and I bought a tub of their pickled cherry peppers and it was the best decision I have ever made.

 

There’s a local restaurant that makes their deviled eggs out of pickled ones and it’s so goooood. I need more pickles in the house.

 

and we're not even getting to Japanese pickles

Mmmmmm pickled radish.

 

Cheesesteaks, meatball subs, Italian hoagies... that spread is life. My friend who was a head chef used to make cherry pepper butter and use it all sorts of ways. Top steaks with it, toss fried calamari in it... it was amazing.

Also I don’t know what I’m making for food this weekend but my favorite breakfast food truck is opening back up for the first time in a month and gonna be 90 seconds from my apartment and I’m SO excited.
