Made corned beef hash for breakfast and it was bomb. Was craving Indian food tonight so made butter chicken for dinner. Good kitchen day.

 

One day I’ll be good at plating and taking pictures. Probably not though.

grill up a piece of toast with the mayo, make the cheese into a crisp, combine the two and put some sriracha on top.

 

We made banana splits a few days ago, with like homemade whipped cream and homemade chocolate sauce and so on. We had leftover sauce so a couple of days later we made Poire belle Hélène. The presentation is bad because I didn’t care, but damn they were good. It’s the less known cousin of the banana split but it’s amazing in its own right.

Yet every time I try to make boxed brownies they come out like absolute dookie. I either burn them or they’re still raw after cooking hahahaha

Oh man, I could really go for some Indian food right now. Mainly chicken tikka masala.
It's too bad my favorite restaurant closed and now I need to find a new one.

 

I’m scared of ordering food kinda and I’m not sure if I am crazy or not because the information is conflicting

 

I got fast food for the first time in over a month for my wife and me. She is in the high risk group,but we just wiped the boxes with cleaner.

Now,whether that does the trick or not,who knows. I do know my wife had to eat something other than our cooking.

 

my wife has refused to order food from anywhere since this all began so we've cooked every meal for the last month or so. I think tonight we're going to get delivery for the first time

 

I’ve gotten delivery once since this started and it was delicious but also super stressful so I don’t think I’ll be doing it again for a very long time. Especially since the other places I’m craving would involve cleaning waaaay more containers.

 

I’m less worried about packaging as I am about the chef infecting the food while packaging it

Idk man. My dad works at a grocery store and a driver tested positive and I keep thinking of all the stock he handled before being diagnosed and it's easy to feel paranoid and like nothing is safe, so I'm just trying to do the best I can.

 

I'm not eating anything like salads or sandwiches that people make that aren't hot but besides that I think it's okay

 

This section here is what has convinced me that eating food from somewhere is such a low risk option to contracting it. I know anything is still possible, and a lot is unknown still at this point, but it at least made me feel a little more comfortable

 

I’m just wondering: if I order something, especially something cold, and an infected person literally sneezes on it before closing the lid, and I then eat it - how can that not be dangerous?

I have seen a lot of kitchens, I know it happens.
