hahah that sounds incredible. i usually splurge on the cheeses, the aged steaks, and stuffed olives. They also have a great beer selection too. I'm thinking my monthly trip might have to be this weekend lol.

 

Surely you have somewhere to get good bread nearby!

Oh yeah, I love their cheese section. I went last weekend but now I think I'm going again this weekend, haha.

lots of bakeries so yes but also im lazy and going to a place just for bread i probably won't do. would love to learn how to make it but making a starter and all that has me a little nervous.

My closest TJ is 45 minutes away, and wegmans an hour 15 :( I miss the wegman’s from when I lived in Medford MA.

I’ve been wanting to make a homemade Philly cheesesteak and that quesadilla is really inspiring me rn

 

Double post but I can’t stop thinking about these charred baby bok choys I had at a ramen spot last week. So good.

 

I live 10-15 minutes from a trader joe's and i love it sooo much. but i spend too much when i go in there.

 

I live 5 minutes from one and hardly ever go. I should though.

 

Been having beef tacos the past 3 nights. Finally using up the last of the meat tonight. I don't go to TJ's that often, though. I have no restraint when it comes to the chocolate covered pretzels and cocoa cookie butter.

recently found a cast iron wok I forgot I had so I've started making some dishes with that and trying to learn how to use it better. Made a beef fried rice last week and a chicken lo mein stir fry thing a couple days ago

I need to go like normal grocery shopping but the stores got absolutely slammed. I worked at grocery stores for 8 years and I’ve never seen the shelves just completely empty like that before.

 

at my local grocery store today they had ppl trying to rush the poor fucks offloading the toilet paper pallets at 630 in the morning smh. they got cops now guarding the employees.

 

I grab breakfast at the same cafe pretty much every Saturday and it’s always super packed, but today it was completely empty. Grab some gift cards to local places you like if you can to help them out during this time.
