I've never heard of this place, but looking it up... it doesn't seem nearly as good as other oyster houses i've been to.

no happy hour means no discounted drinks, they can still have happy hour for food.

Row 34 in Boston has a great raw bar and menu, along with excellent beer selections.

@Ken you definitely need to go to Portland. Eventide oyster would be right up your alley. Tiny little spot with pretty much just a raw bar and great drinks. Plus, Duckfat is right across the street for some wonderful fries/poutine and sandwiches

 

both of those places in Portland are at the top of my places to go when I visit there. Looking at Eventide online fills me with anticipation.

@Ken These were two of the places I went and both were phenomenal! I also really enjoyed a vegetarian Asian restaurant called Green Elephant.
