everyone, I made cajun shrimp and cauliflower grits last night. plated it beautifully for a picture. devoured it.

I'm still waiting for my invitation.

 

Probably the easiest dinner. The longest part was waiting for the veggies to roast. The dressing was just half a lemon and a piece of ginger simmered in about 1/3 cup of olive oil with the walnuts and some crushed red pepper flakes. Definitely gonna do this again.

haha, I meant I'm not opening a restaurant any time soon. But tix would be hard to come by.

one thing I love about vegans is their experimentation. ive been seeing some new food creations that look/sound incredible.

 

That ube looks amazing. I don’t know how I would continue to work in beer sales without the proliferation of beyond/impossible burgers.

 

hell yea i try to tell ppl this when they assume i just eat seeds and tree bark or soem shit but becoming vegan is basically what made me have to learn how to cook

unfortunatley no one will ever get pics of my food cuz once i start making anything my stomach does all my thinking dont have time for that shit lol

Making pork Milanese tonight! I picked up some beautiful baby heirloom tomatoes. I’m really excited.

 

my wife is making gumbo, im making cornbread and stuffed jalepenos, a friend is making eggrolls, and we have some other randos bringing stuff

 

I love salmon so goddamn much

 

been slowly adding meat and fish back into my diet after ~7 years of vegetarianism/veganism.

made blackened fish tacos earlier this week and they were unreal, haven’t stopped thinking about them
