I don't know if you make a lot of red sauces, but they're great for cutting up tomato skins if you're using unpeeled tomatoes.

Ooooh, I will be definitely using this for that, tomatoes might be my favorite food haha. A good red tomato sauce base has so many uses - bbq, Mexican recipes, soups, of course a ton of Italian cuisine.....yum.

Yeah, I love mine. I use it basically anytime I want to puree something that's hot so I can avoid the blender.

I never want to remember the dark times of transferring scalding liquids to a blender and then back to the pot.

I had yellowtail, salmon, and tuna sushi last night with some pork gyoza and garlic noodles. It was glorious. I could live on sushi.

Does anyone have some good lunches for work that aren’t salads? I’ve done salad every day for the last two years and I can’t do it anymore. Aiming for a healthier option since I just sit all day.

I've started making these occasionally. I just follow the basic process and use whatever ingredients I have or like. Requires not a lot of prep work, and you can make a few jars at a time for multiple meals. I usually add a soft-boiled egg too. And if you can't find ramen noodles, you can cook fresh angel hair pasta in water that has had baking soda added to it and it gives a decent approximation to ramen.
