    It worked :heart:_:heart:

I accidentally broke my cayenne pepper shaker and half the pepper fell out. I had to scoop out 99% of it oops

Lmaoooo this is always my biggest fear when taking a picture in my house and sending it to my parents or something.

It's always a problem for me as I'm always smoking a bowl while cooking and trying to take photos afterwards.

Saw a thread on twitter about this. What were some of the best things you ate this year?

I'm struggling to answer this. I can name restaurants that I had amazing meals at, but individual dishes will require some thought.

I loved it! I really enjoyed eating at a Korean BBQ place, but the hot pot place was all-you-can-eat and I'd rather eat there.

Decided to change things up for Christmas gifts this year and make some relatives mustard, hot sauce, barbecue sauce, and half-sour pickles. Can’t wait to see how they turn out, it’s been a while since I’ve made hot sauce and barbecue sauce.

Settled on the entree for new years eve: red wine braised beef (chuck roast), potatoes au gratin, brown butter broccolini and baby carrots, red wine gravy, and parsley vinaigrette.

Why are chips packaged in bags but crackers in boxes?

If chips came in boxes there would be way less broken ones

Apparently chips used to come in big tins. My grandfather was telling me this weekend when he was a kid in Philly there was a chip delivery guy who would bring tins of chips around. Speaking of crackers I need to get some Cheez Its.

pringles still come in a tin

also, crackers are a uniform size and chips generally are irregular shaped

Pringles here don't come in a tin, it's plastic that's vaguely reminiscent a tin I guess, though I never really made the connection myself

Making Mac and cheese for dinner and just randomly remembered this existed.

Now I'm super angsty again that it got discontinued. It was my absolute favorite growing up and through college. So much better than any other kind of Kraft Mac and cheese

Does a cardboard Pringles can really count as a tin tho? Isn't it supposed to be metal?

Just bought a jar of chili crisp for the first time and I cannot figure out why I’ve never had this in my kitchen before.

Food involves baking right? I’m trying my hand at royal icing decorated sugar cookies for the first time......you know I gotta do that baby yoda. Will post the finished product but angel cookie cutters are a godsend!
