Can anyone here recommend any food websites to me? I mean as in food writing. I used to love Lucky Peach, for example.

I once had a cheesesteak in a hipster deli in Amsterdam and spent the following hours running from hotel lobby bathroom to hotel lobby bathroom in the city lol

 

That’s what I get for going to a place my sister recommended, I usually know better

had a delicious bowl of french onion soup last night.

then the waitress judged me for dipping some bread and cheese into my friend’s untouched side of gravy.

two dishes, both made with a base of beef broth, one cooked slow with onions and served with bread and cheese, the other thickened with flour, but taboo to dip bread and cheese in?

 

@Jason Tate have you ever eaten at Imperial in Portland? Weed fed pork...looks like they do a really great job

 

I have not, but this looks like something I'll add to a list to check out.

Im going to my friends’ 6th annual cheese party and I’m bringing spinach artichoke dip but also these mini no bake cheesecakes with (homemade!!) caramel on top and apple filling inside:

We split 6 raw oysters, 3 buffalo fried oysters, 3 parmesan, clams casino, crab cocktail, shrimp cocktail, two martinis, and the bartender kept giving us free bourbon all night haha.

 

haha can't beat free bourbon! That all sounds amazing though! Hoping to head back to AC again soon.

 

The tables were not kind to me. I hope you have better luck than I did.
