Depending on what meat you’re using, I have to disagree there.

 

It’s always wild to see what people not from buffalo think is the best chicken wing. Someone from out of town just told me their favorite so far was the one from the grocery store hot bar.

all good! I know nothing about smoking meats, I just know that I like applewood smoked bacon over cherrywood and hardwood smoked bacon

 

I really enjoy both apple and cherry for bacon. Hardwoods are just too strong a flavor for such a small amount of meat. IMO

 

yeah, that makes sense. I really know nothing about it, just that I love the taste of appleweed smoked bacon especially.... I'm gonna leave that typo.

Made the first chicken pot pie of the season last weekend and it was wonderful

 

homemade chicken pot pie is the best

 

Made acorn squash soup for a work thing and it turned out great

 

Never had homeade pot pie unless Banquet counts

 

Here's the thing about Pot Pie. I fucking hate peas and it never fails that when I eat pot pie that's all I taste
