Ive been super addicted to stuffing different things into egg rolls and air frying them. The last couple of days I've made buffalo chicken, roast beef/cabbage, and meatball egg rolls. All were amazing.

Thought I'd share.

 

We’ve been playing around with cheesecake filled egg rolls at work and they’re soo good.

 

Steak and cheese ones are really good too

 

yeah cheesesteak eggrolls are amazing. I had a leftover chicken cheesesteak and instead of warming it up and eating soggy bread, I emptied it into eggroll wrappers. was glorious.

 

whaaaaat! I need to try this!

 

All we did was whip up a whole baked cheesecake, crumb and all. Would maybe roll it in cinnamon/sugar after too.

 

I've had many different Asian eggrolls and also buffalo eggrolls, but never any of the other ones you're all talking about and damn, I think I need to try.

 

favorite sandwich? we're finally making sourdough bread this weekend and i want to make an awesome sandwich. i thought about egg salad/chicken salad because i haven't had it in a while but i'm open to more ideas

 

I feel like sourdough is intense so it only works with some sandwiches, I'd do pulled pork or maybe chicken

 

croque monsieur! That might be a little much though

 

I had to Google what that was but MY GOD...I need that.

I like sourdough as an alternative to rye for a patty melt. Tuna melt would be good too. I've always wanted to make this club sandwich that has a poached egg on it... could be good with sourdough. BLT and grilled cheese seem like obvious choices too. Maybe roast some beef and make yourself a french dip grilled cheese or just a regular french dip?

I'd probably just make a patty melt, but I'm craving a burger right now.

 

French dips are the fuckin' best

I’m going to Outback Steakhouse tonight and I could care less about steak so I don’t even know what I will want from there.

 

Croque monsieur was a staple when studying for exams and being too lazy to cook anything fancy, it's the best.

 

doesn't outback steakhouse have blooming onions? i've always wanted to try one

 

Yeah, and they're good. Prolly about 4,000 calories, but good.

 

The last few times I had the bloomin' onion, the batter came out undercooked. I think the onion pedals are the way to go. I always liked their prime rib though and the alice springs chicken if that's still a thing? Gotta go with the extra large Foster's too.

Speaking of croque monsieur/madame - I watched this video the other day and have been wanting to make it since. His béchamel was a little whack but otherwise looked sooo good:

 

this looks incredible! did you think his bechamel was a little lumpy? the texture looked off at the end when he put it on the sandwich. I like the addition of nutmeg.
