For all the Queer Eye fans...

 

WE MADE BAGUETTES. the baking steel is so cool. the crust was crusty and the insides were soft and chewy. full of bubbles up top but it was a lil dense towards the bottom because i think the dough was a lil too dry. it was only a one day ferment but it tasted great. it inspired us to start a sourdough starter so we're gonna try to make better tasting bread this upcoming weekend yeeeeeee

 

this bread looks incredible. Please keep us updated on how your sourdough starter comes along!

 

One of the best looking burgers on the show, imo. Kenji is a beast.

 

Been looking forward to this one for months since Kenji had it on his instagram, can't wait to watch it

 

My friend just invited me to get dinner at this restaurant tomorrow and I am super excited about it. I guess it only has like 10 seats and the menu changes daily based on whatever the chef can forage and get locally for that day. He was on Chopped last year and won twice.

Just bought King sauce (pineapple reaper hot sauce) off of Fuego Box and I 100 percent reccomend it. Shockingly it's not that hot but it tastes amazing

 

Who watched Top Chef this year?

 

I did. Honestly my wife and I were not that impressed with this season's offerings. I really wanted Eric to win because I thought their food and flavors were the most interesting, but poor execution can be a real killer.

What did you think?

 

I couldn’t agree more. I feel like this season saw a big drop in quality with the chefs. I rooted for Eric at the end too, but I was rooting for Eddie most of the season.

 

I saw chicken chorizo at my local meat market so I had to try it out and that was not enjoyable at all. I will stick to my normal chorizo because that will always be a hard pass now.

 

I actually started buying this meatless chorizo product and I think it's soo delicious. I made quesadillas with it this week and couldn't even tell the difference.

Wait this is a ten minute walk from my house and I had no idea it was there haha. Will definitely be checking it out.

 

Yeah I had never heard of it either until this week when I got invited.
It’s super tiny, only 9 seats at a bar in the kitchen and it’s just him doing all the food and he has a woman helping him with the drinks and serving and clearing tables. This was pretty much the whole place:

 

Skillet french toast + beer is the best brunch.

 

I thought this was funnel cake for a second and got so excited
