going to my first private dinner. themed around wintery Scandinavian cuisine.
Made some chanko nabe (sumo stew) on this snowy evening. First time, didn't come out too bad!
that looks reall good
I was at a friend's beach house this weekend and woke up before everyone. Got my rod/reel and walked some sandbars/cuts and snagged 5 speckled trout. I really regret not keeping them and turning them into some sorta delicious meal
Thanks! It was delicious, healthy and not all that hard to make.
I didn't add any seafood or the pork/chicken thighs or cut the vegetables fancy. I did make the meatballs which were very yummy.

I made some really good food this weekend. Filet mignon with some Gorgonzola butter, oven fries, and a really good cabernet reduction. Also made fettuccine with vodka sauce and sweet Italian sauce on Friday.
Wow this isn't a porn thread my friend tone it down
I won't post any pics don't worry
past weekend, i made some bomb ass fried rice with my new wok and some salt and pepper shrimp. wok is definitely justified, thank you all. my pizza steel comes in today and i'm stoked for pizza this weekend. gotta prep my fermented dough in the fridge later in the week!

I plan on trying every chicken sandwich at fast food places near me and ranking them very soon. This should be good.

That site looks good! Thanks.
I even use my wok for most of my tomato sauces lol
@SEANoftheDEAD I'm headed to AC this Thursday. Gonna hit Dock's Oyster House happy hour, maybe Bobby Flay Steak, and then going to Philly for Monk's on Friday.
Fantastic site. Nami is so detailed with her recipes and really makes it accessible for everyone interested in cooking Japanese food. I've cooked a number of her recipes and am always happy with them.
@Ken chick parm this weekend?
I had chicken parm sliders on garlic rolls this weekend and I was p happy about it
Gonna be hard to do. I'm in AC Thursday, and Philly Friday.
This sounds bangin'.
I’ve been missing the chick fil a sauce and since I don’t want to drive to the other side of town to get it, I used the Internet.
I googled for a close resemblance to it and I got this Walmart generic brand sauce. Me and my siblings all made some nuggets and tried it. It was a pretty good plan b if we don’t have any sauce packets.
I was posting about that in A1 recently! It’s very similar, I’m into it
