I hate living in an apartment when people around me are cooking good food that smells delicious and I'm eating a pb&j sandwich with baked Cheetos

 

I only lived in an apartment for a little over a year, but when I did, the hallways always smelled like burnt hamburger helper. It was fucking disgusting.

 

are the Cheetos in the sandwich or on the side?

 

usually the only smell I notice that travels to mine is pot, but once in a rare while someone will be cooking something that smells delish and I hate them. I also live above a pho place and luckily the smell doesn't drift all the way to my floor but sometimes it smells amazing by the lobby and I diiiiie

 

The side. Has never occured to me to put them in the sandwich

 

people eat potato chips in sandwiches so you never know

 

it's like when I thought I had this big discovery of putting McDonald's fries into a McDouble.

 

@Ken I wish you could come over and help me eat. I have way too many burgers. Venison mixed in with bacon, fresh that we took to the butcher. Then I mixed blue cheese crumbles into it. Also sautéed portabellos onions and jalapeneos to put on them, onion buns, lettuce and tomatoes...gonna throw some peaches on the grill too. All the while drinkin’ lagunitas citrusienis pale ale.

 

Pretzels in a sandwich are very good actually

Nothing exciting. Grilled cheese, pb&j usually. I still don't have a car so I can't always get to the store and I always had ingredients for those lying around, but now I have exhausted my sandwich resources lol and am out of bread and cheese.

 

oh ok. I'm trying to find a healthy lunch to take to work and not coming up with much unless I cook a big meal the night before.

 

I always struggle with that too. I do like putting together the copycat Starbucks bistro boxes and putting in different fruits and veggies, but I need to work better to integrate protein.

Lately I've been getting migraines and I think some of it has to do with lack of nutrients/food but I hate troubling ppl for rides to the store and even tho I have a job offer it will be a while before I actually start and idk where I'll fall in the pay period so I'm still eating like a broke college student.

 

I had this chipotle chicken pizza at California pizza kitchen last night and it was so fire.

 

Carnitas tots from a food truck. They were overpriced, but damn were they delicious.

 

Tots, the unsung hero of potatoes.

 

Also, ya'll need to tip the person who puts together your take-out order.

 

Omg. I decided to take my nephew to a restaurant and it's way more expensive than I thought. My salad sounds delish but it's like $15. I'm sry but that's insane. The same price as a steak here. I almost got unhealthy food just cause it's half the price, but I decided to prioritize my health. Which is gonna make me go broke apparently.

I'm trying one of those meal kit delivery things. Hoping it gets me out of a rut and eating more protein. The promo was for 3 meals for 2 people so I imagine I'm gonna have a lot of leftovers. Also I think I was supposed to choose my meals but it got all glitchy and I think I selected stuff on accident. Didn't occur to me until after that I might not have all the cooking supplies I need. Can't wait to post nice pics from the menu and then what my cooking looks like lmao

It's cool they have veggie plans now cause I def remember when these things started a lot of them didn't. But it will hopefully help my lack of car/groceries situation.
