Right! Breakfast this morning is leftover steak, sliced thinly over toast with seared mushrooms and poached eggs.

 

I don't know if I mentioned it to everyone but I got food posioning from McDonald's and I feel so betrayed.

 

It was great! We ended up getting 5 small shareable plates so we could try a bunch of different things.

He had an amazing pork belly and it sounds weird, but there was a scrambled egg app that was sooo good.

 

this chocolate milk is god tier

 

Have you had the Promised Land chocolate milk? so bad for you yet so good. Their strawberry milk is great too

 

I don't even really like strawberry milk but that one is incredible

 

I just tried Pokiland.

 

I also just learned that Pokiland is apparently not a well known place yet.

 

Quick question for you all:

Oven fried chicken or deep fry/pan frying?

I have a deep frier, so I usually use that. I've pan fried before too, but never oven fried. Is it worth trying?

 

Oven frying will be healthier, but I can’t imagine it being better.

 

I am never using my oven again!!! Just recently the smoke detector started going off every time I open my oven to check on the food or take it out. There's no smoke I can see and nothing is burning. I tried cleaning out the oven but it's still going off. I have to hurry and take the food out and then run to the smoke alarm and try to beat it. Forget about food that needs to be turned over or something to cook evenly. I've lived here for a while and it just started doing it recently ugh.

 

What kind of oven is it? Can you smell anything unusual? Maybe a deep cleaning will help, even if you can't see anything burning

 

Idk I don't smell anything or see smoke. I did notice something looked like it had spilled out at the bottom of the oven a few weeks ago and I cleaned it but it's still going off.

 

I tried it out. It was actually really good. Gonna have to do a side-by-side with my deep frier one day.

 

How did you fry it in the oven? Or do you mean that you baked it?

 

It's just baked. It's definitely confusing, I read many recipes that call it "oven fried", but it's clearly just baked chicken that resembles fried chicken haha.

 

Cooking your chicken with a sous vide and then frying it produces god tier friend chicken. I'll never make fried chicken any other way again.

Making a simple brine and letting your chicken sit in that over night before you cook it is also very important to getting fantastic tasting chicken.

 

baking chicken is great.

 

I made bacon & shrimp fried cauliflower rice last night. 10/10. I prefer cauliflower fried rice to rice fried rice

lots of sugar for one thing. lots of calories, too. probably why it's so good

 

I forgot to respond to this but I haven't. I only have ever checked out the chocolate milks that come through my grocery store.

now i have to make some sloppy joes. have never eaten SPAM and don’t plan to.

i can never get my eggs that fluffy. eggslut did a breakfast sandwich how to that I love, as well.

this is the only dairy-milk I will drink, but is too pricey to buy every time.
