Their American Whiskey tastes like buttery shortbread cookies and is so easy to drink.

 

It's insanely smooth. Phenomenal taste too. What a whiskey. I feel like a lot of people don't know about it haha.

 

The wife is out of town for a week and I'm trying to figure out what I should be eating that she wouldn't eat with me.

I feel like I always want something that she doesn't when she's here but now that she's gone I can't think of anything.

I just noticed the Baskin Robbins in the mini Mart across the street from my work has been replaced by Tillamook ice cream which is way superior and I'm excited. I don't check for ice cream much but I'd def take that over Baskin Robbins

 

I don't get how baskin robbins is a thing still. Their ice cream is so expensive and yet so unremarkable. I don't know what Tillamook ice cream is but it sounds better already.

 

It's a dairy farm in Oregon that makes good ice cream and cheese. V popular here

 

Tillamook is the best. I didn't know they had their own little shops, but I get their ice cream at grocery stores sometimes.

 

I've been to the factory a few times and it's delish but they've been working construction on it foreeeeever so it's never fully opened. But they still have the free cheese samples so it's all good.

 

I'm a day late and dollar short on the bourbon talk. But I wanna chime in, as a guy raised 45 minutes from lynchburg tn, jack Daniels should be my favorite but I'm much more of a crown royal guy.

Evan Williams if I'm cheap and Jim Beam if I'm cheaper.

 

Was the American one the one you were recommending? I was at a bar on Wednesday and happened to be sitting right in front of the bottle. The American one really did taste pretty sweet, but it was good. I think you were recommending the bourbon one? They were out of that and the rye

 

We both recommended it. I think I particularly pushed for the American one. It's just so smooth and good.. Look for Blanton's next time too.

 

It was superrr smooth, that was the first thing I noticed. Nice, i'll have to check that out. This place is a whiskey bar so they have almost every option, haha.

 

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Blanton's but for the pricepoint, at least here, I think there are better options.

Elmer is probably the same cost, maybe a bit cheaper. McKenna is significantly cheaper.

never knew they made ice cream, too, but I associate Tillamook so much with their smokey cheddars that I'm not sure I could enjoy their ice cream.

 

Unpopular opinion but vegan sushi can be p.good

 

What exactly is vegan sushi?

 

Basically, it's the form of sushi (rice, seaweed etc.) with differently prepared vegetables and proteins with unorthodox and interesting sauces and stuff.

 

I've tried to like pickles for like two decades and I just cannot, but I have managed to be able to tolerate beets.

I blame fast food for making me try it way to early, it was definitely a mcDs burger that ruined it for me. I got into onions easily, though.

 

I only started liking pickles recently but I still won't like eat them plain from the jar. Since I discovered I ended up liking them I tried olives again thinking maybe I've grown to like them since I was 10. The answer is no.
